Current issues: The President of the Coalition of Patients with Chronic Diseases says that the problem of lack of medicines in pharmacies is a problem that has been going on for a very long time.
Patients complain about the lack of a large number of medicines in pharmacies, which are especially necessary for patients with serious illnesses, says Radu Gănescu, president of the Coalition of Organizations of Patients with Chronic Diseases in Romania, in the program “Problems the zi” on RRA.
However, the Ministry of Health indicates that it has published on its website an order which prohibits or, depending on the case, temporarily suspends the parallel export of medicines.
Anca CRUPARIU – spokesperson for the National Medicines Agency said today on RRA (in the program Probleme la zi) that the authorities were also considering the rules aimed at guaranteeing the public service obligation of authorization holders of drugs.
Radu Ganescu – the president of the Coalition of Associations of Patients with Chronic Diseases in Romania says that the problem of lack of medicines in pharmacies is one that has been going on for a very long time.
According to him, the major risk is for patients who cannot even find very cheap drugs, which puts their lives at risk.
He believes that the solution to the drug crisis in pharmacies can only be serious regulation of price policy by the authorities.
