The agent who brought Marko Dugandzic to CFR Cluj, harsh charges

Jermaine Somuiywa, the agent who brought Marko Dugandzic to CFR Cluj last winter from FC Sochi, accuses the Transylvania team of not paying the amount due and announces that he will sue them!

The manager claims that the Transylvanians promised to pay both the Russian club and the agents who worked on the transfer by March-April 2022 at the latest, but that didn’t happen.

Later, those at CFR Cluj reportedly doubted that Somuiywa and his agency would indeed have a license to operate in the field and asked for supporting documents, which were also handed over in June.

Jermaine Somuiywa, the agent who brought Marko Dugandzic to CFR Cluj last winter from FC Sochi, accuses the Transylvania team of not paying the amount due and announces that he will sue them!

The agent claims that after proving to Transylvanians that they are practicing with proper documents, they first promised to make payment, after which they stopped responding to repeated messages. From now on, he will sue them, at FIFA.

“We worked on the transfer of striker Marko Dugandzic, who is now at Rapid, at the beginning of January this year. I transferred him from Sochi, Russia, to Cluj. We agreed on the fee transfer and fees, then we agreed that they would also pay the club and the agents in March-April.

This period came and Cluj did not pay the club a penny, using the excuse of war to avoid payment. At the same time, CFR Cluj did not pay the commissions to us, the agents, at the agreed term. Instead of trying to find a solution to pay us, they started asking me for documents proving that I was indeed an agent and that the company I was representing was a UK registered agency, which was pretty ridiculous , because I worked on several transfers. in Romania before.

We brought in Penedo a few years ago, it was one of the first transfers made, then also one of his colleagues, a midfielder, I can’t remember his exact name. And several other transfers to Astra, Dinamo, Craiova. After these transfers, it was the first time that I was asked to prove that I was an agent, that my agency was indeed registered in the UK. Obtaining all the documents that have been requested from me takes several weeks, even months, until you receive them from the government. When I received them, it was in June.

At that time they told me that they were going to make a new invoice and pay me, but they didn’t even pay, and they used as an excuse that they had not received the money from the television rights of the Romanian Federation, although they have already started the new season. Basically, they have owed us this money since January, and after several attempts to resolve the situation in the normal way, asking when they will pay us, it has gotten to the point where they are no longer responding to messages. We have decided to sue them at FIFA,” Jermaine Somuiywa told ProSport.

Dugandzic has meanwhile arrived at Rapid

Meanwhile, Dugandzic was transferred to Rapidand according to our sources, the situation presented above could be one of the reasons why the Croatian was sold just six months after moving to Gruia.

“I know that Rapid is the biggest club in the history of Romania. I have heard only good things about the club. I decided to come to have more opportunities to play, to do great things with Rapid, to reach the play-offs.

We have good goals for the next 2-3 years and I hope everything will be fine,” Dugandzic said during the official presentation.
